Jose Mourinho urges Romelu Lukaku to come clean on WHY he left Chelsea for Everton on loan

Keeping quiet: Mourinho says Lukaku has never given the true reasons for Everton loan move
The Belgian striker has been a massive hit in his loan spell at Everton, with seven goals in nine appearances since his deadline day move.
Mourinho, though, appears to have become increasingly irritated by suggestions from the striker that he was forced to leave the Blues against his will.
And today the Blues manager bit back as he told Lukaku, who has claimed no contact for two months, it is time to tell the truth.
Mourinho said: ''Romelu likes to speak. He's a young boy who likes to speak.
''But the only thing he didn't say is why he went to Everton on loan. That's the only thing he never says.
''And my last contact with him was to tell him exactly that. I said 'Why do you never say why you are not here?'
''So it's something he should talk about because he likes to speak. It's something he should say, the reason why he's not with Chelsea and is in Everton.''
Mourinho revealed he will again be without knee victim David Luiz, while Samuel Eto'o faces up to 17 days out with the hamstring injury he sustained in the 1-0 defeat to Basel.
Changes are expected for Sunday's game with Southampton, part of what Mourinho predicted will be Chelsea's toughest spell of the season to date.
The Blues boss added: ''Ther are lots of matches now. Now it's time for the squad. Now it's time for the squad. Now it's time for everybody to feel that they have a chance.
"So when we play now Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday, when we have Southampton, Sunderland and Stoke, that makes ''SSS''
''And in the SSS week everybody will have a chance.''
That includes Ashley Cole, who has dropped behind Cesar Azpilicueta in the pecking order and Demba Ba, with Mourinhio insisting he will not go into the market for a striker, or a replacement for the England left-back, in January.
Chelsea have been linked with Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao but Mourinho insisted: ''No. No. I don't want Portuguese players. I always had them but, at this moment, it's enough.
''I don't have them now. Only Hilario, the remaining one. But we don't need. We don't need.
''In the January market we're not going to buy any striker, so we will go through to the end of the season with Fernando (Torres), Samuel and Demba. Nobody goes in. Nobody goes out.''

ASUU strike: Osun students advise FG against force

Osogbo - Scores of students in Osun, Ogun and Oyo states on Friday reacted to Federal Government’s directive and the ultimatum given to striking lecturers to return to school or be sacked.

Many of the students who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), advised the Federal Government not to relent in its efforts to resolve the issue through consistent dialogue.

Tokunbo Akindipe, a final year student of Sociology at the University of Ibadan, said it would be counterproductive for government to issue any threat at this time rather than persuasion.

“The government has, up till now, demonstrated a civilised attitude by engaging the lectures in dialogue in the past which I think it should continue to do to its logical conclusion.”

“Sincerely, I must commend President Jonathan for his democratic way of handling the issue from the inception and the level of patience he exhibited; this is the kind of method I expect him to sustain.”

“The Federal Government must exercise caution and be careful  in order not to forfeit all the effort put into resolving this issue; this is therefore not the time for threats of any sort,” Akindipe said.

In the same vein, Sakirat Akintolu, a 300 level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta pleaded with government to be more patient with the striking lecturers.

Akintolu explained that the unfortunate death of one of their comrades in the person of Festus Iyayi, further worsened the situation as the strike would have been called off but for the tragic event.

“I urge government to show commitment to some of the demands of the university lecturers in order to obtain their confidence and allay their suspicion,” she said.

A union leader at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Comrade Kunle Bewaji, also advised government against any action that would further delay the resumption of the striking lecturers.

Bewaji said that at no time in the history of ASUU’s struggle in Nigeria had a threat of sack ever achieved anything.

“ASUU, as a pressure group, is a composition of intellectuals, people with high cerebral; it is inconceivable to coerce these individuals to action.”

“I would have expected the Federal Government to call the striking lecturers to a meeting again and find a way to seal the agreement reached to assure them of its seriousness.”

“As it is, the directive of the Federal Government to open the campuses and the threat of sacking the lecturers if they fail to resume will further jeopardise the peace process,” he stressed.

How I Co-ordinated Lagos Black Sunday Robbery – Godogodo

His father was a gambler who never really had time to train him on the right path and he ended up on the wrong path, as one of the most deadly armed robbers in the history of Nigeria - his name is Godogodo!

Sunday, September 9, 2012, will remain indelible in the minds of many families in Lagos State, who lost loved ones to the brazen attack of a gang of heavily armed robbers, who laid siege to strategic points in the state, killing at least three policemen and several other citizens, while scores sustained injuries.

But the arrest of the members of the gang that operated that day, including the notorious robbery czar, Abiodun Ogunjobi, aka, Godogodo, would bring relief to relatives and friends of those killed or injured that day.

Meanwhile, Godogodo, who was arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, led by SP Abba Kyari, on August 1, 2013, has revealed how he coordinated the bloody operation.

Bureau de Change robbery
He gave chilling details of how he led members of the gang to cart away millions of dollars from bureau de change operators in Agege and Gbagada areas of Lagos. According to Godogodo, “On that fateful day, I called one of my boys, Sayeed Omolopa, to meet me at AlfaBeach in Ajah, and some other boys led by Kasali and Ejike. “They were about seven and my boys were five. Yemi Boss, who came with Ejike, said we should go to Agege and rob some bureau de change operators.

The agreement was that everyone will get what he lays his hands on. “We used two vehicles and over nine AK-47 rifles. When we got to Agege, some bureau de change operators that saw us ran to us thinking we wanted to change money and we opened fire on them and ran into their shops to pack all the money we found. “In fact, we robbed from shop to shop and we also shot sporadically to scare people. We shot at people who tried to block the road and prevent us from moving.

I can’t count the number of people killed in that operation. “Wherever people tried to block the road, we opened fire on them. The boys that went with me for that job were notorious, they were difficult to control but they all feared me. We made a lot of money from the operation “While we were trying to escape, we met a team of policemen attached to the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, and we thought they were after us.

Spread of terrorism: Army uncovers Boko Haram’s new tactics

The Chief of Army Staff Lt General Azubike Ihejirika, has advised Nigerians not to panic over speculation of the spread of terrorists into other regions of the country, assuring that security moves were in top gear to monitor terrorists movements just as the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Ibrahim Attahiru also alerted Nigerians that Boko Haram terrorists have come out with new tactics to circumvent security measures put in place towards curtailing their activities in the North East.
The new methods according to General Attahiru include resorting to attacks on soft targets and erecting snap road blocks on major highways in the north east.
He however stressed that the Army has been responding swiftly through effective combat patrols both on air and land.
General Attahiru said: “While the onslaught on the violence extremist organisation continues, the insurgents have devised methods to circumvent the new security measures by resorting to attacks on soft targets and erecting snap road blocks on major highways in the north east” he said.
”Equally, our troops have responded appropriately through effective combat patrols both on land and air in order to dominate the area of operations,” he stated.
Describing the United States’ designation of Boko Haram and Ansaru as Foreign Terrorist Organisations (FTO) as a step in the right direction, he noted that the Nigerian Army has continued to carry out “full spectrum counter-insurgency operations, with emphasis on both kinetic and non-kinetic operations to shape the operational environment in the north east”.
”Currently, 7 Division of the Nigerian Army in conjunction with the Nigerian Air force had carried out simultaneous offensive operations. Based on these operations, insurgents were successfully cleared from some camps in SambisaForest, BitaVillage in Damboa Local Government as well as Gujba in neighbouring YobeState. Many insurgents were killed and large cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered,” the Army spokesman said.
In the same vein, the General Officer Commanding, GOC, 2 Division Garrison, Major General Ahmed Jubrin expressed the readiness of the Nigerian Army to combat terrorism and other security challenges in the country.

Why we have been together for twelve years – Midnight crew

They were actually eleven in number when they started in 2011 but the quartet of Michael Abdul, Odunayo Ojo Onasanya, Pat Uwaje King and Gbenga Oyebola, known simply as the Midnight Crew have kept their wits about them for nothing else but for the love of what they do and enjoy doing.  In this revealing interview, which they take turn to respond, they open up on their careers, their dreams and why they have stuck together for that long. Excerpts:
How has the journey been this last twelve years?
It’s not been very easy but we made up our mind to go all the way as long as God stands by us . The very funny thing is that, we see very far.
Have you guys ever had  issues or moments of friction,  where you quarrel?
Yes, we do have those times. But the good thing is that we are friends, first of all, and we have realized we all need each other in our lives. And no matter the differences, we just have to reconcile. There is nothing that is irreconcilable.  And we try to hear ourselves out and then we put ourselves in each others’ shoes.
How did you guys compose that song ‘Igwe’?
‘Igwe’ came from God. It is a song that God gave to us and it is evident in the way that it was received. As a matter of fact, we did that song and then we just traveled out.
What year did the song come out?

Jude Okoye, other family members not happy with Peter Okoye's marriage

On Sunday, November 17, 2013, Lagos stood still for Psquare's Peter Okoye and fiancée Lola Omotayo as the couple held their traditional wedding ceremony, surprisingly elder brother Jude Okoye was
missing.

Social network has been buzzing. The twins' publicist Bayo Adetu tells NET Jude was missing at the wedding because he was stuck in Ghana. Psquare had performed in Accra, Ghana at the 'Glo and Bounce Slide' tour the night before. Adetu says Jude missed his flight and couldn't get back to Lagos in time for the nuptials.

But a source who was part of another artiste's entourage to Ghana for the concert says Jude Okoye did NOT travel to Ghana. 'We didn't see him, the twins were here with their band but we didn't see Jude', our source who'd rather stay anonymous tells NET.

There are few instances pointing to the fact that Jude did not travel with his Pop star twin brothers to Ghana for the concert: Jude, a regular user of photo sharing Instagram never fails to post photos of their trip outside Nigeria – there were no photos of him aboard the airplane heading to GH, photos of the twins performing at the concert.

One source asks: 'If he was truly stuck in Ghana, wouldn't he have even lamented on Twitter like D'banj?'.
Instead Jude posted a photo of himself and Wizkid in the studio. The picture is believed to have been taken a night before at the Mavin Records studio where he had been working with Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Phyno and others.

Inside sources in the Okoye family tell NET that Jude Okoye and a few other family members did not support their brother's marriage to his baby mama Lola Omotayo. Some sources also also claim their late mother never supported the relationship too.

'Jude and some others don't like her. They never gave their blessing for the marriage. Paul too, but he is his twin. Other family members who were there were reluctant to attend. Jude didn't go because he never supported the idea from day one', a family source tells us.

Some of the Okoye family members have even gone as far as insinuating that Lola Omotayo has allegedly constantly cheated on Peter Okoye. NET gathered there have been demands for a DNA test to really ascertain whether his children Cameron and Aliona are truly his. 'It's that serious, they claim Lola sleeps around with her so called 'uncles', they want a DNA test done, they just want to protect their brother'.

WE could not independently confirm these allegations, and Adetu insists there are no issues, that Jude was only MIA because he was stuck in Ghana. One of the couple's friends also told us all these are 'wicked rumours'. 'Wicked, false rumours. Nothing can be more false and distasteful. They should leave them alone and let them have peace...'

Lola currently lives in a mansion in Park View estate, Ikoyi. The Okoyes are currently building their new home somewhere not to far from there. It is uncertain where the couple will make their home.
Jude Okoye has been working with Psquare, his younger brothers since they released their first album 'Last Nite' under Timbuk2 Music label back in 2003.

José Mourinho asks Chelsea for brave Basel victory in Champions League to night match

José Mourinho has called on Chelsea to secure their passage into the knockout phase of the Champions League with victory at Basel on Tuesday as his players enter a cluttered and pivotal period of the season where "only the brave can survive".
A victory at St Jakob-Park will claim Group E for the Europa League holders and allow Mourinho to rest key personnel for the final group game against Steaua Bucharest. Chelsea have nine fixtures in all competitions in December with Mourinho, sporting a repeat of his self-styled "going to war" crewcut from 2006, urging his players to prove their quality and stamp their authority on the campaign.

"This is a period I like, a period where the squad can play a role, not just the team," the manager said. "It's a period where I think only the brave can survive because it's so hard. We go into the Christmas period and the accumulation of matches is so high. We don't do it as a normal thing … we do it as a special group with a special mentality, enjoying the situation and forgetting we don't have a Christmas like the Spanish, Italian and German players. But we have the pleasure of playing a period that's only for the brave.

Some hours ago 9ice warned website and blogs owners to stop uploading his songs on their platforms without his consent.
