For ASUU: Happy Human Rights Day to 5 Osun Defender Commenters As they win N20,000 each

Human Rights Day

Today is 10th DECEMBER 2013, INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY, and we have a token gift of One Hundred Thousand Naira only (N100,000.00) to be shared out equally (N20,000.00 each) among five of our most vociferous commenters in the last five months since the beginning of ASUU strike.
What else can we say concerning the dying and fading year 2013, than to give back to that youthful group of zealous and passionate readers of Osun Defender online who made this blogsite the most optimized for ASUU Strike news in the second half of this year in Nigeria.

For over 5 months, …and still counting, the tortuous battle for excellence, funding and reformation of tertiary education in Nigeria, led by the Academic Staff Union of Nigeria – ASUU. Reporting the economic rights of the teachers, their trampled rights through governmental deception, and it was such an emotive matter, the battle is still on, but we must reward loyalty of readers in our own modest way, to show we treasure you and your comments-feedback.

Yes we know the lecturers, the wearied parents and students besieged our site here to either defend the ASUU strike, call for an end or contribute their views. The Rights trophy goes to the youth who seized the opportunity of social media and blogosphere to attempt to influence the outcome of the fierce battle.
From the pool of the topmost commenters, particularly from the first day of July when the ASUU Strike began, till yesterday 9th December, we have randomly picked the first set of five people for an end-of-year gift of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) each. We have taken quality time to filter out SPAM comments that were copy-pasted across many articles, and we hereby announce the following lucky winners:

The winners would be contacted today Tuesday 10th December 2013 through their email account registered on this site. We also know from our database that one or two among the winners are based abroad, so you either nominate any one who can collect the Naira cash on your behalf or reply the mail that would be sent to you with your bank details where the N20,000.00 will be deposited from today.
